The Canadian Wakeboard Championships are being held in Peterborough this weekend. We're looking forward to seeing

It feels like summer is here! Finally some consistantly warm weather. Pulling the boat out and getting that first run of the

this year. We also can't wait to get out on the lake to wakeboard. It won't be too cold for long!

Now that the summer is pretty much over, we'd like to thank everyone that made this summer a great one. We'd also like to
thank all the event organizers/staff/volunteers who spent an huge amount of time making all the events of this summer the

Wow! That was one awesome Wakestock weekend. Although the weather on Saturday was a little harsh (lightning
literally struck a tree 100 feet from our tent!), it cleared up Saturday afternoon and Sunday was warm and sunny.
Thanks to everyone that came by and said hello, and congrats to all the winners of the competition. We'll be up at the
Ontario Provincials in Bala, ON this coming weekend (Sat Aug 2nd, 2008).

The X-Cup AmAssault this past weekend was great. Awesome weather and some awesome riders showing off a whole wack of
great tricks. We had a lot of fun at this event last year and this year was even better.

Kawartha Lakes Wakeboard Open was a lot of fun this weekend. The weather didn't cooperate the entire time (Sunday brought a
crazy torrential rain) but the event still showcased some excellent riders. A bunch of good local and not so local bands was
also a highlight. We're really looking forward to this event next year.

We've just booked our first wakeboarding competition of the summer! The Kawartha Lakes Wakeboard Open 2008 will be hosted at
Peterborough - Little Lake, Beavermead Park from June 28th to June 29th. We'll be there to show off our products and hand out free stuff.

Summer is just around the corner and we're looking forward to getting out on the water and riding. The competitions this year should
be a lot of fun and it looks like we might be attending even more events than last year. Hope to see you all out there.

Assault Towers attended the final X-Cup competition at Deerhurst Resort this weekend and it was an excellent venue. We will
be looking forward to Deerhurst hosting this event next year. Congratulations to all the participants.

We heard through the grape vine that the Canadian Wake Championships in Wasaga Beach was an excellent event for all. Our booth was
at the event, but unfortunately we were not able to attend. We had some friends from Phat Wakes Wakeboard School setup and man the
booth for us.

Wow, what an awesome time. Wakestock is an incredible event. With over 40,000 people showing up, we were able to meet a lot of people
this weekend. Big thanks to all the people who make the event happen. It gets better every year. More to come soon...
